Our second anniversary was approaching and we thought it would be cool to go on a trip. I had been to Chicago once before and thought it was a cool city and a great alternative to the usual NYC etc. We had great weather all week and the only bad thing that happened was getting stuck in JFK on the way back, in the most nasty hotel I have ever seen...but we managed to make jokes about it.

Some stuff we did in Chicago.

• Went on an 'architectual and lake' cruise
• Wandered about Navy Pier and played mini golf and rode the ferris wheel
• Walked about watching the crowds on Labour Day
• Went to the Art Institute and saw some amazing art - like Ferris Bueller did
• Saw the 'bean'
• Looked about the Shedd Aquarium
• Rented bikes and cruised up and down by the lake
• Did one day of shopping on the Miracle Mile
• Swam in our hotel pool even though it was freezing
• Ate a bunch of good food, maybe too much

I had the '58 Yashica A twin lens reflex and the '70s Olympus rangefinder for picture taking. These black and whites were done using the Kodak 400CN black and white film that develops in tradtional colour chemicals (C41).

We had a great time and Heather had done a great job of finding all the cool stuff to do. :)
