Charles Anderson has let me borrow his Mamiya 645 with a 35mm lens on it...a monster camera.

It was his camera he used professionally until the switch to digital happened. I wanted to give it a try to see how shooting medium format film went when you have the benefit of a built-in light meter.

Need to do some more testing I think, but it kinda works like my old Nikon, just a lot heavier and the negatives are much bigger.

UPDATE - Ok, took it out on another morning. Managed to shoot the proper 15 frames you can get out of a roll of 120. It is an amazing camera, I guess it should be it is professional quality. A lot of fun to use though.
