So Sticks made a ukelele out of a cigar box. I thought it was a great opportunity to do a shoot so I could practice doing portraits. It is the first of a series I am working on. Sticks had the idea to call the series 'dudes' and he might be on to something there.

The plan was to do test shots with my digital camera and then use my 1958 Yashica A for the 'real' shots. These square ones on the top of the page are the Yashica shots. Some of the digital ones worked out too, I think.

Either way it was a great afternoon hanging out with one of the original dudes.
