Another camera from the guys at Collectible Cameras... a Voigtlander Bessa I. As near as I can tell it is from 1935. It has an Anastigmat Voigtar lens. It has 4 shutter settings, 1/25th, 175th, B and T. It has 4 aperture settings, 22, 16, 11 and 7.7. Takes a steady hand. It shoots 620 or 120 film and is missing the mask that allows it to shoot 2.25 inch square shots, so it only shoots at 2.25 x 3.5 inches. These are big negatives!

The film advance is with what they call the 'red window technique'. There are 2 windows on the back of the camera and you advance the film with the winder until the frame numbers appear in the window. I wasn't totally sure which window was the correct one, so I did a quick test roll.

Some shots from a weekend in August, 2010 at Warwick Long Bay and Coopers Island in Bermuda.
